ARGO ADMIRAL JOURNAL ENTRY 4
The 2013 Argonauts season was definitely a learning experience as a first year Argo Admiral. I started off with a plan which came to me on the drive home from our first meeting, I then put that plan into motion. With no journalism experience and not exactly tech. smart, I began my Argo Admiral Journal entries (AAJ). I had taken that first step out off my comfort zone and had AAJ1 posted for all to see and followed it up with 2 more pieces throughout the season.
This off season has brought some changes and a renewed excitement to continue what I have started with the Admirals. The “Plan” will stay the course in an attempt to attract fans #NorthofBarrie but now with an expanded game plan! (Pun intended) I have tagged the 2014 Toronto Argonauts season #TheSecondComing in part of my returning as an Admiral and also because this season I will have a partner. I would like to officially announce that my daughter MJ will be joining the Argo Admirals this season to help promote the wonderful ladies of Argos Cheer. This is truly an honor as we have spent countless hours with this top notch cheer squad over the years in the #JrCheer program as well as other events. Over the years Jorie Brown has done an amazing job with this squad and with the Junior Cheer Program! If you attended the Cheer Finals you saw first hand the success of this program with many Junior Cheer alumni in attendance.
With that said, training camp and the regular season are just around the corner. The Cheer Finals have come to pass and the 2014 Argonauts Cheerleaders have been chosen. Congratulations to this years squad, we were in attendance in Scarborough and MJ along with myself are working on a piece to be posted soon. We would also like to give a quick shout out to @JrAdmiralTravis for paving the way for the #NextGeneration of #YoungAdmirals. Hopefully you and MJ can work on something together this season if time and travel permits. Stay tuned Argo Nation for #TheSecondComing ….
