What to Expect This Wednesday
So many things have happened in the past couple of days here in Toronto, that normally a fan of the double blue would be afraid of, but this isn’t any normal situation. Noel Prefontaine goes down on the 9 game disabled list after a shaky start to the season, Joseph Cohen is day-to-day, a short break between games, and a couple of close calls to start the season points downwards in most situations, but the Toronto Argonauts are good at making things right. Almost immediately, Jim Barker the General Manager of the Argos brought in 2-time Grey Cup Champion Etienne Boulay and the monster boot belonging to none other Swayze Waters, the man famous for his 70 yard field goal kick on YouTube. Ricky Ray has also officially passed Doug Flutie for 7th on the All-Time passing list, and is approaching his Eastern Conference foe Henry Burris. In all honesty, despite an off game in Hamilton and a 1-2 record, the season is looking bright for the Boatmen. They know exactly what they need to do to fix their weaknesses, and they are making sure they pick up the right men to fill their gaps and making immediate improvements.
The Argonauts definitely have one of the best rosters in the league, filled with some of the best talent in the league. The only downfall WAS the need to mesh a new, star quarterback into the line-up, but there is no doubt the Ray knows exactly what he needs to do to end this season on a winning note.
