The Mission

Welcome to the new Argos Admirals fan site.

It’s June 28th today and in two days the Argos’ 2012 season will open with Ricky Ray returning to Edmonton to take on his old team, the Eskimos.  He’s not doing this alone of course. Ray has a whole new team in double blue around him and it’s led by new Argos’ head coach, Scott Milanovich.  The stakes are high and it will be an intense game.

Toronto is hosting the 100th Grey Cup this year and the Argonauts are pulling out all the stops to be playing that game in November.  The mission begins with a win in Edmonton on Saturday.

Thus far, I haven’t written anything that hasn’t been said elsewhere.  I’m not a reporter or a football expert.  I am a member of the Argos Admirals.  More than anything, we’re fans.  Everything we do, we do from a fan’s perspective. We’re here to scrounge the web for stories, tweets, blogs, photos, videos, and anything else Argonaut, then pool it all together for other fans. We’re looking to build a community around this team.  We’re looking to make some noise.  We’re looking to make the GTA stand up and pay attention to what’s going on over here and we need your help.
